The bullets also note that the mat is folded for shipping and may arrive with creases, which the listing says can be removed by unfolding, rolling in the opposite direction, and laying the mat flat for a couple of days.
MontVoo 5×7 polypropylene outdoor rug
The MontVoo is a 5 by 7 foot flat-weave polypropylene rug in neutral brown, sized in its title. How these listings were chosen
The research set held the MUBIN and the Othilic. The MontVoo and Lahome were added from checks dated 2026-10-20 to show a larger flat-weave rug and a smaller checkered rug with outdoor usage. The Othilic is a doormat rather than a patio rug, and its listing says so through its size and bullets, so it is compared as a doormat.
Worked example: floor area and weight on the doormat pair
The MUBIN measures 43 by 27 inches, or about 8.1 square feet. The Othilic measures 36 by 24 inches, or 6 square feet. Dividing 8.06 by 6 gives about 1.34, so the MUBIN is roughly 34 percent larger on the stated sizes. The MUBIN’s 27 inch width is also 3 inches wider than the Othilic’s 24 inches, which matters when a mat has to sit inside a recessed entry.
The weight difference runs the other way from the size. The MUBIN weighs 1.7 pounds and the Othilic 1.5 pounds, so the MUBIN is about 13 percent heavier while covering a third more floor. The Othilic’s lower weight is consistent with a thinner polyester mat, but the listings do not give a thickness for the MUBIN, so the weight cannot be turned into a thickness comparison.
What the listings do not say
The MontVoo listing states no weight and gives no dimensions in inches. The Lahome listing states no weight and no material name beyond machine woven, although its bullets name a TPE backing. The MUBIN bullets do not describe a backing. The Othilic specification table says polyester while its bullets say synthetic fibers, which describe the same family of fabrics but are not the same wording. None of the listings gives a pile height in inches.
