Small Propane and Wood Fire Pits: 8 Picks Compared
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
The small table top propane fire pit search returns eight small fire pits in this research set, and only two of them are listed for propane. The title is rewritten to name the small propane and wood pits that were actually compared, so the size and fuel figures can be checked side by side.
Listing data for the eight products was checked on 2026-10-11. Dimensions are taken as listed, and the set’s size range runs from a 15.75 inch cube to a 32 inch title size.
Quick answer
For a propane pit, the Outland Living 19 inch and the Ciays 19 inch are the two listings. For a smaller wood pit, the sundate 15.75 inch and the KindleHearth pit at 18.5 by 16 inches are the compact options on the listed sizes. For a wood pit that comes with a carry bag and a grill set, the CANNOSEAE 22 inch is the listing to check. The propane tank is not included with the Outland, so the tank cost has to be added to the total.

KindleHearth 18.5 inch square fire bowl

Outland Living 19 inch propane fire pit
The listing gives a black propane pit, 19 by 19 by 11 inches, with a 23 pound item weight. The title states 58,000 BTU, and the listing includes a cover, carry kit and pre-attached 10 foot hose. The 20 pound propane tank is not included.
Ciays 19 inch propane fire pit with grill grate
The listing gives a black metal propane pit, 19.49 by 16.93 by 9.45 inches, weighing 23 pounds. It has folding legs that fold to about 19 by 8 inches, a grill grate, hose hooks and a propane tank holder. A bullet describes flameout protection.
CANNOSEAE 22 inch wood burning fire pit set
The listing gives a black metal pit, 22 by 22 by 18 inches, weighing 9.4 pounds. It comes as a set with a spark screen, grill accessories and folding legs, and it includes a carry bag. The title describes it as a 22 inch fire pit for backyard, patio and camping use.
DENKOE iron fire pit table with lid
The listing gives a black iron bowl, 25 by 25 by 12 inches, with a 30 pound item weight. The bowl wall is about 0.13 inch thick, and the lid is an aluminum and poly lumber cover. A bullet explains the drainage hole, and a listing FAQ says the base can get hot.
OShuKang 22.4 inch portable wood burning pit
The listing gives a black pit, 22.44 by 22.44 by 11.81 inches, weighing 9.2 pounds. It assembles by plugging the parts together, and its hexagonal design has enlarged side vents. The title names a carry bag.
Quilushey 32 inch fire pit table
The listing gives a black iron pit, 27 by 23 by 11 inches, weighing 22 pounds. The title says 32 inch, so the title and the size field do not agree. The fuel field says charcoal and a bullet says wood burning. A spark screen and a poker are included.
How the eight products were chosen
All eight are fire pits in the research file for this keyword. Two use propane and six use wood or charcoal. The propane pair is kept in the list so the gas choice can be compared against the smaller wood options.
Worked example: base area of the two compact options
The KindleHearth base is 18.5 by 16 inches, about 296 square inches. The OShuKang base is 22.44 by 22.44 inches, about 504 square inches. The OShuKang covers about 1.7 times the floor of the KindleHearth, but it is listed at 9.2 pounds against the KindleHearth’s 7.9 pounds, so the difference in weight is small compared with the difference in footprint.
What the listings do not say
- The sundate listing gives no item weight, so its transport weight is unknown.
- The Quilushey title size and the size field disagree, and the fuel field conflicts with a bullet.
- No listing gives a heat output for the wood pits, so their heat cannot be compared with the 58,000 BTU figure on the Outland.
- The Outland tank is not included, so the listing does not cover the full cost of propane use.
